poor babies... i hope they don't meet their maker too early XP

I'm only starting out so I'm trying to do the responsible thing by listening to advice... and actually using it!

i got 6 platties. very pretty little fish. They are supposedly the hardy beginner fish because its harder to kill them. good good. so far they are swimming happily and eating their fish flakes and making use of the plastic 'rock cave' and plastic plant. I cant wait to put more fish in it. at least I hope they are as happy as fish who dont know any better can be o.0

They look so tiny in the tank, its over 2 and a half feet by 1ft. but the lid is 3 ft but it still does the job XP thanks Claire for the tank >.< !!!

a shoal of tetre's, cooly loaches which i seriously want, bala sharks, red tail sharks, pleco's, cori dora something or other, hatchet fish,talking catfish, um... shrimp and frogs! yes these are all possible in the same tank XP.

also...if anyones been trying to contact me these past few days... my phone battery died and i cant find my charger soooo... note me? or msn if im around.

think i'll some more fish on monday pending of course if my sacrificial platties survive, which i hope they will. i'll take a picture of the tank and post it maybe. yes!

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

for over 9 glorious weeks ive had braided extentions. I had wanted them in for yeeaaarrrrssss.

I was so happy i had gotten them done. After getting used to not washing them (yes it felt gross at first  but you get used to it XP)

so easy to maintain, nice spray etc. Would I get them done again???

HELLS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

why?

yesterday my cousin and I took them out. My hair came out in kick ass little tidy curls. I shampooped 3 times, conditioned twice before covering my head in conditioner and wrapping it in a towel for an hour.

I tried to brush it out buuuuuuuut ehe, it wouldnt brush out. the strands of hair were matted together where the braid knot started which was just over an inch from my scalp.

got no sleep last night, having visions of having to get it all chopped off T_T

went to the hair dressers today at 11. she spent 2 hours with a fine comb combing it all out >< you know when you hit a snag while brushing your hair brings a tear to your eye?

I tried not to but i cried throughout the whole thing >< it was so painful. it was all because the dead hair that would normally just fall out here and there just  kinda matted or fused together. apparently it happens alot.

the girls were so nice, they constantly offered tea, something from the shop, wine, vodka or baileys from the fridge XP the girl taking the knots from my hair felt so guilty about reafing the hair off me but alas it was either that or shave it all off. not gonna happen.


I bought them a giant box of malteasers for their trouble ><

any who. this is just a warning to those who are thinking of getting it done... taking them out is a different kettle of fish. unless you plan on going the Sinead O' Conner route.

I'll still miss my braids though. my head feels so much lighter. I keep checking to make sure my hair is there XP

murf,

i get to use the shed as my studio again. so I need to plan
ahead and use the space wisely, not just stuff a desk and
some shelfs in it.

my fish tank shall also live there^^ yay.

I'm going to empty it out first... theres a shit load of crap in there. including badly
put together shelfs, nothing to do with me.

I'll post up pictures of the space I have available so if you guys
have any idea's whatsoever Im all ears.

i wish to use the space for animation and general drawing, painting, sculpture
etc so I'm thinking some hinging may be on the agenda.

this journal is going to edited a million times i imagine XP
